Rachel Thomas EAGMA
Rachel is the Group Membership Secretary.
Rachel Thomas is an artist living and working on the coast in Norfolk. Originally from Oxford, Rachel and her family moved to the county when she was a teenager and began her art education in textile design in Great Yarmouth and continued her studies in West Yorkshire.
After her education, she moved to London to pursue a career in interior and textile design, but soon moved out to Barbados where she began painting and exhibiting full time. Since then, and with a family of her own, Rachel continues to travel and painting her adventures.
She has paintings in private collections globally, from Canada, to Holland, to South Africa, and back to the Caribbean.
She exhibits locally, and on a national level, being the first woman to stage an art exhibition in the Palace of Westminster.
She is a founding member of the East Anglian Contemporary Artists, with her husband, fellow artist, Edward Bush.
